Okay, now that Valentine’s Day is over, we will soon cross over into the season of Lent on February 21. Of course the hedonists still have Mardi Gras to satiate themselves before turning to God for forgiveness for the sins committed willfully (but probably without remorse) while partying a few days before.

Spiritually filled Christians on the other have have been busy creating a mission for this coming Ash Wednesday. Global Fast 2007 is an opportunity for everyone in the world to fast on Ash Wednesday and donate, the money not spent on food, to charities.

The goal is to recruit 10,000,000 people, so tell your friends. Let’s help make a difference to millions of people. The poor benefit from the funds and the rich from a cheap weight maintenance programme that also lightens the load off the wallet.
