Life and Death Race Has Begun
Now that all the Presidential hopefuls have expressed and launched their intentions to run for the Presidency, we are able to form a picture of the future state of the US under each potential President. By extension, the policies of the US have wide ranging and significant implications on the rest of the world - including me.
A study of each potential candidate from both parties, indicates that none of them are pro-life as holistically as Senator Sam Brownback. Holistic from all relevant perspectives - protection of the unborn and weak (such as elderly and disabled), pro-business, pro-marriage (in the God-intended sense), protection of environment, energy self-sufficiency and disengagement from Iraq. Senator Brownback is probably the only candidate who has been consistent in his approach on all issues. See reports on Brownback here and here.
He doesn’t shy away from proclaiming his Christian faith and we can be certain that his Presidency will be run from a faith filled platform provided he doesn’t get obsessed with beating the opinion polls during his Presidency. As a Catholic, I firmly believe that Sam Brownback is the one hope that God is providing Americans and the World to correct the wrongs of the past and return to the path of life - joyful life.
We have to pray fervently that the GOP selects Sam Brownback as the Presidential candidate. Once that is settled, we need to pray incessantly until voting day that he will gain the Presidency. After the Inauguration, we will have to pray continuously that God will guide him more than his advisers. Prayer never fails.
